We’re launching monthly General Meetings on the 4th Sunday of the month, each one paired with a hands-on workshop for a creative and engaging experience.

The Book Binding Activity is now FULL. You may still attend the General Meeting and Book Sale.

This first meeting will feature a unique workshop with Maria Gould leading us in a hands-on bookbinding session. You must sign up to participate. Come make a simple journal/sketchbook to keep track of your ideas, glazing combinations, firing results or grocery lists!

Students who have signed up will make a decorated cover, sew pages to make a simple folio and put the two parts together. There is a lot of gluing involved so be prepared to get your fingers sticky.
All materials will be provided only if you sign up.
We'll also be hosting a pottery-themed book sale at this event with titles every clay lover will appreciate.  Join us for a short meeting, and stick around for the fun!

P.S. Please note that you DO NOT have to sign up to attend a general meeting.  You DO have to sign up if you are staying for the workshop.  This will allow us to have the proper quantity of materials available.

Have you ever wondered about ways to personalize and customize your work to be unique?

In this workshop RAY MORALES will focus on making and customizing tools to work with clay. The demonstration part of the workshop is free and open to all, but is limited to 25 participants.

Functionality, durability and customizing of everyday and special clay tools (such as wire cutters scratch, ribs, stamps for wet clay and glazing, and chattering) will be demonstrated.

For the hands on time, we will provide  to preregistered participants, all materials needed for making your own sponge steps and one brush or other tools.

As always, this entire workshop is free to members and as an added bonus, guests are also free if registered ahead of time.
